Boogie Shadows is a three-piece indie rock band from Winnipeg, Manitoba. Jordan Wood (guitar, vocals) and Matthew Baschuk (drums) formed the band in early 2015 with Tim Liao (bass, vocals) joining later that year. Although relatively new, the band members share a natural music connection from years of jamming together, playing house parties, and gigging with previous bands. Boogie Shadows’ upbeat indie rock/pop tunes deliver catchy vocal hooks paired with tasteful riffs. Their song style is influenced by a wide variety of genres including lo-fi, garage, indie, and punk rock. Raw and honest song writing draws on the members' personal struggles and experiences, expressed with uplifting energy.

Boogie Shadows have recorded three songs so far (with several more to be recorded in Spring 2017) which can be heard below or directly on their SoundCloud page. To capture the feel of a live performance the songs were recorded live "off the floor". A truly lo-fi recording of the songs (through the use of three room mics) allows for a taste of what a Boogie Shadows performance would sound like.
